Employment Solicitor | 1+ Years’ PQE

We are working with a well-established law firm seeking an Employment Solicitor with at least one year of post-qualification experience to join its busy team in Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their expertise across a broad range of employment matters, advising both employers and employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least one year of experience in employment law.

• Experience advising on day-to-day employment issues, settlement agreements, redundancies and Employment Tribunal claims.

• Knowledge of employment contracts, workplace policies and staff handbooks.

• Exposure to both claimant and respondent work.

• Strong drafting, advisory and communication skills.

• Commercial awareness and an interest in business development.

• The ability to manage their own caseload while working collaboratively within a team.

The role

You will advise on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, support corporate transactions on employment-related issues, and contribute to client training and business development activities.
