An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Partner to join a highly regarded national law firm in Birmingham.

This is an opportunity for an established Employment Partner with a strong reputation in the market, looking to take the next step in their career within a well-resourced and ambitious practice.

The successful individual will have a broad employment law practice, advising a diverse client base on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. You will have the opportunity to work with an established team, develop existing client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.

The Role

• Advising employers and senior executives on a broad range of employment law matters.

• Handling complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal claims, dismissals, discrimination, restructuring and employment contracts.

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice.

• Taking a lead role in business development and identifying opportunities to grow the practice.

• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas to maximise cross-referral opportunities.

The Candidate

• An established Employment Partner or Senior Employment Lawyer with a strong following.

• A proven track record of generating work and developing client relationships.

• Broad experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.

• Commercially minded, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• A strong reputation in the Birmingham and wider Midlands market.

• The ambition and drive to contribute to the ongoing development of a successful employment practice.
