Commercial Property Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE to join an established legal practice in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will join a team advising a broad range of clients on commercial property matters, with the opportunity to develop their technical expertise and take an active role in a varied caseload of transactions.

The Role

The position will involve advising on a range of commercial property matters, including:

• Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases.

• Landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews and lease variations.

• Property development and investment transactions.

• Property finance and secured lending.

• Conducting due diligence, reporting on title and managing transactions through to completion.

• Advising clients on the legal and commercial implications of their transactions.

You will be responsible for managing matters appropriate to your level of experience, maintaining effective client relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of legal service.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with between 1 and 4 years’ PQE in Commercial Property.

• Have experience dealing with a range of commercial property transactions.

• Demonstrate sound technical knowledge and an understanding of the commercial considerations affecting clients.

• Possess strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.

• Be confident communicating with clients and other professionals.

• Have a proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
